using comport for serial connection to arduino via bluetooth?
  • Hi everybody, what a nice place here:)

I just managed to make my first libpd-android-app and I´m really excitet! Now, since I use PD also for a lot of other stuff besides pure audio applications, I wonder if it´s possible to use the comport module within PD to communicate via serial bluetooth with my Arduino? With the firmata librarys for PD and Arduino, this serial connection over USB is relative easy... I would be really thankful for some hints.

    greetings, Frank

  • This seems more like a general question about Pd, so you'll probably get a reply sooner if you send a message to the Pd mailing list.

  • thanks for replying, I think I didn´t made my question clear enough. I ve already managed to establish this kind of bluetooth connection with Pd (on PC). But my question is, if it is possible to use the comport this way when PD is running embedded with libpd (in my case on Android)?

  • i have compiled comport (statically linked) in libpd. as far as using it in android... i don't know. https://github.com/patricksebastien/libpd
