    This question is actually for a friend of mine, but I'm pretty interested in this functionality myself.

    It would be really great if you could switch the gate on and use the Meeblip stand alone like the Ray Wilson Weird Sound Generator or an Atari Punk Console.

    What do you guys think? Are Hal and I the only ones that might be interested in this?

    When I was testing MeeBlip, I created a drone synth firmware that did what you suggest - gated sound and multiple oscillators + LFO fun. I've been thinking about cleaning it up and releasing it.
