I just built the Meeblip SE DIY and it is working great. (Square board with the 4 switches on the back to set the midi channel) I have a current the current OS but I'm not sure how to get the patches to and from computer being that there is no save or load button on this version of the board. Any help?
Thanks
Eric
The left-most three DIP switches can be flipped up/down quickly to simulate the Load / Save / MIDI buttons.
Thanks! Left when facing the back on the synth or the front.
I just thought of something else. How are the different saved patches accessed? Originally i was thinking of using a sysex utility on my computer but the meeblim doesnt have a midi out so that wont work. Sorry, im a little confused :)
This page should tell you everything you need to know about saving/loading patches and setting the midi channel: http://meeblip.com/use-one/get-started-with-meeblip-se/
Flip all the DIP switches off, then flip the one you want to activate up & down to start the LED flashing, then flip the appropriate switch on the front panel.
Ok i think i got it. Switch 1 is to load a preset, swirch 3 is to save a patch, switch 2 i assume is to sellect the midi channel (havent tried this yet) and switch 4 does nothing. Im wondering if individual switches could be used in place of the small 4 switches. It would be nice to have easier access.
Just to help others reading this thread: Looking from the top of the board, the switches are laid out on the DIP switch as No Connection | Load | Save | MIDI. Connecting 3 momentary switches between the top and bottom pins of the DIP switch socket will give you full SE functionality with the correct firmware.
