    When I try and update to v2.04 I get no LED light and no audio, but it says it has successfully flashed. If I flash back to the 2.02 or other versions it works perfect. Ive triple tested this, only stops working with the Jan 5th 2012 meeblip-se.hex (2.04 hex file) downloaded from https://github.com/MeeBlip/meeblip-synth
    Can someone check this or figure out whats going wrong, I had a similar problem with one of the earlier firmware updates but all other ones work.

    FWIW: allowing some level of noise/distortion is always welcome as it creates a chracteristic sound, random clicks are not as welcome. Revisions on synths such as the Nord Rack cleaned the audio too much, loosing some of the rawness, never fall into this trap :)

    When you flashed the 2.04 firmware did you include this text in the command:  -U eeprom:w:meeblip.eep   ?  The meeblip.eep file in the repository that I downloaded seemed to be out of date.  James suspected that it changed the MIDI channel so the Micro stopped responding to my controller.

    A new meeblip.eep file from James fixed the problem.  My Micro runs the 2.04 firmware just fine.  Nice addition is the velocity control of filter envelope amount.

    Can someone put together a zipped file plus the avr command line to get a working firmware uploaded to my Meeblip se. I had a perfectly working original firmware, updated to a newer one with the weaker resonance, tried to change to the newest one but I get errors like "checksum mismatch in line 4 of meeblip.eep" and when trying to go back to an older firmware which Im happy with now half the controls arent working (like its half updated). Id love if there was a more user friendly location with say the older firmware (pre resonance/new front panel) and the newest firmware in easy to use zipped folders. I must have missed when things changed to need .eep files as its not in the firmware uploading tutorial and Im piecing things together as best I can.

    Github can make things confusing.

    The firmloading tutorial needs to be updated to reflect the addition of patch memory because that changed things a bit.
