TouchOSC template for MeeBlip SE
  • Do you have iPad and wish that you could wirelessly play and control your MeeBlip SE? If so, my new TouchOSC template is for you!

    This uses MIDI channel 3.

    Enjoy!
  • Excellent! I'll give this a try. Guess I should take requests for more... Control (Android/iOS, free)? Lemur?
  • I picked up Lemur earlier today. I'll make a MeeBlip template with it soon.
  • Thanks Bro, great Job !
  • Forgive the noob question, but what else is required to get that to work besides an iPad running TouchOSC? Clearly some other bit of hardware is necessary, but I can't figure out what it might be.
  • One way would be to use the Camera Connection Kit from Apple to plug a USB-MIDI interface into your iPad with its output plugged in to the MeeBlip.

There are ways to do this wirelessly, but they are OS-dependent.
  • Is there a wireless method for OS X? Wiring an iPad to the Meeblip via a MIDI interface seems less efficient that just hooking up my keyboard.
  • Yes, and then you can use an app like MIDIpipe to send the MIDI data back out of your Mac.

I go the fully-wired route via an iConnectMIDI interface. It lets me have my computer, my iPad, the MeeBlip, a few other devices, and a keyboard all connected and working with each other.
  • Too complicated for me to figure out, but thanks for the reply.
  • Could you make this work on a Micro? You'd have to change the midi channel to 1 at least..
