A new carefully thread in the Warrior Forum these days just produced me personally ought to give you a giggle while My partner and i reached the protection of those becoming focused. Whilst My partner and i arranged using the OP's idea, I think the communication could have wholesale jordans shoes for sale
been delivered along with more courtesy. This kind of from the master connected with straight talk wireless. Nonetheless, even My partner and i was slightly postpone with the strengthen. However, the dude was appropriate. Many Online marketers seem to believe that since they are generating some cash on the internet them to learn than the massive guns.

And so think about that. Think about My partner and i took my personal remorseful guiding right into a company like Nike and said, "Hey guys, a person folks have no idea of pinto beans about how precisely precisely to enhance your business on the web. Ok, i'll show you exactly how! inch retro jordans Have you got any kind of thought the looks which i might receive from your brass which did wonders there? They might think My partner and i was stark raving out of my personal mind. Very well, we will accomplish this? We have to execute a small exploration on this almost nothing of a company and see where did they compare on the internet.

Very well, initial thing My partner and i observe, when i type in your message "Nike" into Google is actually that the best listing may be the actual Nike site. Imagine that. These kind of brain dead morons actually IN SOME WAY head out their own website to number one. How will you think they will did which? Oh, I'm sure... they will paid off Google. In fact, everybody knows which Google is the owner of the net. Did not a person notice? They will ordered through Ing Gore in relation to a week ago. Very well, no matter the explanation, Nike is actually number one with the label throughout the various search engines. That is out of 81 trillion effects.

Yet we've been just how to get started. When you go on to the site Alexa, their own Alexa position is just about 1200 around this content. Which means which no more than 1200 websites use a much better ranking. My partner and i ponder if most of these Online marketers include any of individuals websites? If that's the case, maybe they will communicate and possibly they will present Nike something or perhaps 2. Yet I'm able to explain right this moment, My partner and i sure seeing that besides isn't some of those websites. Therefore wholesale jordans shoes i don't believe I will be going for walks into the Nike boardroom and showing them how you can work their own company.

I possibly could carry on, such as 360, 000 furthermore video clips which dopes like me personally publish to Vimeo which are related along with Nike. Besides, they will need not promote their own website. We all practice it for the children. We all practice it through boasting in relation to each of our brand new Nike Atmosphere Max three months and publishing video clips of people wanting to carry out each of our wholesale jordan shoes online store impersonation. Oh, I'm sorry, with this age group it is Lebron John. Besides, Let me include either of their bankrolls. Maybe they will utilize a marketer to help them using their impression.

Hello,

I was wondering if its okay to use the Remote io audio unit (Core Audio) to play time sensitive sounds while using Libpd as a sequencer and a background sound fx sound source.

I want to achieve the best possible latency for my app. The latency is alright -- It's at 16 ticks per buffer and its still noticeably late.

Inside my patch are some tabread4~. I am wondering if I can swap out the tabread4~s for low level core audio code using Remote IO audio unit to playback my samples, or does the libpd framework not like it when the low level core audio stuff its using is being tampered with?

I am reading the Core Audio book right now, so I just want to make sure that I am okay using both libpd and Core Audio audio units together before going ahead and trying to integrate it into my libpd project.

However, after trying with the metro and fiddle~ objects, it doesn't appear as if it works correctly. I've attached [metro 1000] -> [s eggs]. I was expecting the test.py output to include the bangs from the metronome as it subscribes to "eggs" (libpd_subscribe("eggs").

However, I only get events that essentially originated from test.py. test.py sends messages to "spam" which because of the patch forwards to [s eggs], these come thru, but the ones from metro do not? Any ideas?

Hello. I have problems, to make Open Source Control (OSC) working with libpd. Or more general, I experience difficulties receiving udp-packets in my patch.

I did compile libpd with a patch an everything works. Than I try to make OSC working in my patch. I tried it with dumpOSC and mr. peaches udpreceive. To use this modules, I downloaded and compiled both dumpOSC.c and udpreceive.c in my project. I also setup the modules in my code before using it, i.e. "udpreceive_setup();"

The modules compiled that way are also within the patch I use for the app - I am able to send debugging messages through this objects to print and to my xcode-console. So everything works fine, except receiving packets via udp.

When I try another udpreceive-code in c- / obj-c that I downloaded from the internet - that worked! So the problem is not a misconfiguration of the router or something.

I found this thread on a mailing list - maybe the source of the problem.. (That the regular-update-hook is not called in libpd) http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.multimedia.puredata.general/88412 Did anyone else experienced that kind of problem?

I think for now I will implement the OSC-part of the app with a iOS-framework and send the reported messages to the patch... but having this all in one place (the pd-patch) would be much more convenient and much more portable as well!

I am thinking of making a proposal for a tool for libpd with Processing. I have had some headaches trying to use Processing and libpd for an Android soundtoy and I though it would be nice to have a tool in Processing to allow for easy export to Android. I think that would be a killer feature and not too hard (?) to implement. I posted it on Processing's forum

I am pretty fluent in Java and C++ (also puredata) and used to Processing as well, but I would appreciate a lot suggestions on how it should be done, both technically and workflow-wise!
cheers!

While adding audiobus was trivial because of its neat Audio Unit wrapper, it looks like for JACK I need to intercept the audio buffer somewhere and send it to the JACK server rather than Core Audio. And switch back to Core Audio when the server is shut down. Where would this fit into libpd?

So the idea goes like this...

Build a new ROM for the Meeblip that gets rid of everything else but the oscillators and run as many of those as possible with the resulting processing power. Use the knobs and switches on the faceplate to control offset from base midi pitch, waveform, level, etc. for each of the oscillators.

Then feed the same midi in to the Meeblip as you do to your analog synth, and take the output of the Meeblip and feed it into one of the processing stages (i.e before the filter and amp) of the synth.

Instant extra oscillators. Yes, some would be digital, but it would sure help the 1-oscillator wonders like the MiniBrute.

You could even do some pseudo polyphonic -- polytonic, I guess -- things by assigning an oscillator pitch to each midi note when multiple keys are pressed.

What do you think?

I've got a patch that works great on my PC, but it relies on filter~ from iemlib. Following the hints here about referring to ScenePlayer, I've managed to get filter~ compiled for Android and included in my project. It also gets added into the .apk along with the libpd libraries.

My problem is that I still get "error: ... couldn't create" when starting my program. As far as I can tell, that refers to filter~.

I've seen mention of differences in names between Android and libpd, so I tried renaming libfilter~.so in various ways - filter~.so, filter_tilde.so, and others.

The extras that are come with libpd are named libwhatever~.so, so I figure that the default name ought to be correct.

Does any one know how I can find out what is wrong?

https://github.com/Nagasaki45/pd-for-android/tree/bluetooth
Here are some information regarding using this branch of ScenePlayer
https://github.com/Nagasaki45/pd-for-android/wiki/ScenePlayer-Bluetooth-awareness-capabilities
Here you can find the abstract of my research
http://veillance.me/blog/2013/4/14/abstract-ieeeistas13-50
If you interested in more information you are welcome to ask.

By the way #1, To where can I upload a demo scene that uses the technology?

By the way #2, after presenting the project in a conference last week two more artists show interest in the technology to use it on their own projects.

One last thing. @PeterBrinkmann: Thanks a lot for your awesome work on libpd, ScenePlayer and your book, as well as for your help here in the forums. I asked some questions here few months ago where the development was still for demo app and you helped me a lot (which is not obvious at all as the main developer of the technology).

Hope to hear from you what you think about the idea?

libpd, iOS, MIDI and a newbie

Hello all - I'm a newcomer to Pd, libpd and iOS/Objective C, but am well versed in Max (see my many creations at http://defectiverecords.com) and am pretty comfortable in Java.

I'm trying to test the waters of building an iOS app using libpd, that will read in MIDI data, do something with it, and then send it back out via MIDI as well. I have no interest in doing anything on the audio side of things (at the moment). I'm quite certain that I will pick up the Pd side of things on my own, but I need some help with the iOS/Objective C side of things, as well as the interactions with MIDI i/o on the device. I got Peter Brinkmann's excellent book, but right in the section that I want to explore ("MIDI Support in libpd") where it discusses connecting libpd to the MIDI API of the iOS platform, it basically says something to the effect of "this exercise is left to the user." Argh, this is exactly the place that I need some help to get me going.

So: could someone help me with a sample XCode project that basically illustrates how to receive incoming MIDI data from the device and route it to a Pd patch, and then take MIDI data from the Pd patch and send it to MIDI out of the device?

Thanks in advance,
Dan

Would you buy an open-source hackable 8 knob midi controller for $25?

Hi all,

Been reading CDM forever, never posted here though. I love synths, especially my analog ones, but I love my virtual ones too. They frustrate me however, with their deep menus, and lack of dedicated knobs. There are some solutions, like the $180 BCR2000, but I like the feel of real potentiometers much better than encoders, and $5.6/knob seems too expensive. So I found a solution for myself, in the form of cheap little USB knob boxes. They are small (2"x4"), lightweight, bus powered, and USB class compliant, so they happily work with any modern OS (including iOS). They very much resemble 1/2 of a doepfer knob box (http://www.doepfer.de/presse/PD_grey.jpg), only thinner, and with a microusb jack instead of traditional MIDI.

Anyways, they suit me quite well, and I was thinking about perhaps starting a kickstarter for them this summer, with a modest goal of 50 or 100 units. I've had some interest from musicians geographically close to me, but I was wondering if this sort of thing would appeal to other people. They work great for adding a dedicated controller to built-in ableton instruments that use the 8 knob interface.

Being an EE nerd, I originally intended to release it as a kit, without an enclosure, and with only the surface-mount microusb connector soldered by myself. Now that I think of it, most musicians are not into soldering, and I could probably reach a wider audience selling a finished product with an enclosure. That may drive the price point up to $30, but even then, the only thing that comes close is a korg nanokontrol, at double that, and it just does not fit what I need (lots of dedicated knobs for cheap cheap cheap so I can control my digitals like my analogs). I would most definitely release it as open source hardware / open source software and encourage people to twiddle with it! A simpler version could just have a USB jack and 8 analog ins, for attaching, say, an IR sensor, an LDR, a flex sensor, an accelerometer, whatever you want really...

Are there other people that would be interested in this? Would you buy a kit, or a pre-assembled model? Would you buy it without an enclosure (make your own enclosure?)?

Thanks, and happy twiddlin' :)

Hello guys! Thanks to the enormous support extended by this community, the awesomeness of libpd and processing themselves and the millions of resources available on the web, we finally managed to publish a gridless sequencer app to the android play store. If you have an Android device running 4.0+, please go ahead and give it a spin. We faced countless problems during development, and would love to help out people who are going through the same(if we can). We are also opening up the source code for everyone to play around/hack/criticise.
Do let us know what you think!

I have been coding a sampling-synth in pd. I was planning on doing my GUI in Processing, with OSC, but am having an issue getting Puredatap5 to work.

I've cleared all trace of Processing and its folders from my Mac, and tried different versions of both Processing and the different versions of Puredatap5 floating around with no avail...

Does it currently work? Or should I be reassessing using Processing all together?

If there's any way you could point me in the right direction, I'd be ecstatic! I'm still learning to code, so I'm not really tied to any language in particular(though, I'm loving Pd...). Is there a better one for GUI that is okay with libpd and OSC? Python? Lua?

Thank you in advance!

I have developed an app for Android called imSynt (image Synesthesia). It takes any image on the phone (photos mainly, of course) and transforms it into "music". To accomplish this, I'm using libpd with a patch I adapted from another site. To control the notes it's playing I'm using the midi input functionality of pd;in other words: to play a note I'm using "notein", to change the instrument I'm using "pgmin".

The next step for my app is to enable the user to add their own patches to the mix. I have already done part of the necessary work but I need to find/create a good-sounding patch that I can adapt to my app. It would need to have 5 instruments or so and sound a bit different from the one I'm already using.

The questions would be:

Where can I find a good tutorial on creating my own patch so it sounds like a distinct instrument?

Failing that, where can I find a good patch that already contains 5 or more good instruments which can be used in my app?

So, we're aware we've been a bit silent lately. James and I run MeeBlip together, and sometimes being two people is tough. So, we're working on making things more active this summer. What will be changing, each making a big difference in our lives and how we can help MeeBlip work for you:

Fixing the forums. I've been working with a great developer here in Berlin, and we're finishing testing on a registration process to block spammers. That will be followed with other improvements. I actually really love Vanilla, but that means some improvements will make it possible to really use the stuff we like about it.

New hardware, starting with a new MeeBlip micro with onboard USB programmability, shipping in late May. I'll have a post on this up Monday.

More blog posts, forum interaction to come! With shipping and hardware in order, we have a lot to talk about.

There are also some further improvements to how we ship from Europe, in making it easier to do so and keeping inventory here so we don't run out of stock (as happened to us last month in the sold-out SE run.)

Got questions or suggestions? Fire away.

And yes, while I continue to manually delete spam, that means it'll be easier to talk very, very soon.
