I'm just days away from hopping aboard the Max/MSP train. Excited!

And on April 23rd the Bellingham Electronic Arts Festival kicks off.

They're giving away copies of Cycling 74 software (including Max/MSP/Jitter) to festival pass holders who attend.

So if you're in the Northwest, like electronic music, and want a (pretty good) chance at winning Max/MSP (free update to Max 5!) come April 23-26 to beautiful Bellingham, WA!

And if you're coming up for beaf, show some love and pm me. We'll hang out.

how do people typically learn Max.Msp? i had some puredata courses in college and it too difficult for me to pick up. i feel like i'm missing out over here though, especially with a new version coming out

well, now's the time to learn. get the 30 day trial and go through the tutorials. with the new additions to max, i think they've made it more accessible to new users. a good trick for learning it is also to view the help files for each object. that's how i did it.
