I hold out hope that we'll see new designs as elegant as the Casio ... and perhaps going in different sonic directions. I note a couple of synths have come with battery power, like the recent Xiosynth, though they're far more complex beasts.
Homebrewed solution, perhaps?  |

| i dont know, id hope so! i have one, and i love the keys on it. i really hate weighted keyboards, they always seem a bit old fashioned - theres no real need for them today. miniature keys are better. anyway, i have circuit bent mine to give pitch bend (a little bit up, and aaaaaaaaaaaaaaall the way down), and its fun. |
